Rain plays spoilsport, abandons all Tigers matches

Kyle Viccars and Krishna Padmanabhan built on the overnight score of 56 but rain stopped the play when Richmond were 0/75 against Kingston Hawthorn on Saturday.

Incessant rains at Walter Galt Reserve meant that the game didn’t resume and the match ended in a draw.

Similarly, at Central North Reserve and Central South Reserve, where the 2s and 4s were playing respectively, the covers were brought on before the scheduled start. Both the games were called off by 2.30 pm.

The 2s’ match ended in a draw, while the 4s had already won on first innings on Day 1.

The 3s’ fixture was called off at 11.30 am but the Tigers had already registered a victory on 1st innings thanks to Shobit Singh’s 108 on Day 1.
