    ESTABLISHED IN 1854, RICHMOND CRICKET CLUB PLAYS IN VICTORIAN PREMIER CRICKET AT CENTRAL RESERVE GLEN WAVERLEY IN THE CITY OF MONASH.

    IN SEASON 2024/25 RCC IS SEEKING TO FILL THE VACANT ROLE OF –

    CRICKET OPERATIONS ADMINSTRATOR

    This role will be the first point of contact for our 2 key stakeholders – Cricket Victoria and the City of Monash.

    Key responsibilities include Match Day Operations and supporting Coaches, Players, and Club Committee.

    Mandatory prerequisites include –

    • Current working with children card/certificate

    • Cricket Club experience and a strong understanding and love of cricket

    • A working knowledge of Windows applications

    • A current drivers licence.

    In 2024/25 RCC will field 4 Senior Men’s teams, the RCC Academy will comprise of 2 Junior Girls and 2 Junior Boys teams, and a Cubs Program, totalling approximately 160 players.

    It is a great time to join Richmond CC as we seek to build on Finals performances in recent years and continue to grow the Club.

    This is a part-time paid position.

    RCC Annual General Meeting 2023

    Dear Richmond CC Members,

    The Richmond Cricket Club 2023 Annual General Meeting will be held at the North Pavilion, Central Reserve, Glen Waverley, at 7pm on Monday August 21, 2023.
    The Agenda for the 2023 AGM includes a Special Resolution to adopt a new set of rules for Richmond Cricket Club Inc, hence the 21 days notice. Details of the new rules and reasons for the proposed change will be provided to all members well in advance of the meeting.

    Established in 1854, Richmond Cricket Club plays in the Victorian Premier Cricket competition, based at Central Reserve, Glen Waverley in the City of Monash.
    For season 2022-23 RCC is seeking to fill the following vacancies in our Cricket Program:

    Senior Coach Male Program (Playing or non-playing)
    Specialist Coach Male Program (Playing or non-playing)
    Assistant Coach Male Program (Non-playing)
    Academy Coach Boys Program
    Academy Coach Girls Program

    Following on from our Club Championship in season 2015-16, Richmond CC has rebuilt and developed a playing list to take the club forward in the coming seasons. Producing three local Victorians in Parker, Perry and Fraser-McGurk, 1s, 2s and 4s finalists in the 21-22 season and 3s Premiership in 20-21, the club is well placed to compete in Premier cricket and produce more professional cricketers.

    In 2022-23, RCC will establish a Girl’s Academy to complement the Boy’s Academy, with a view to a Senior Female Program in Premier cricket in the future.

    We seek highly credentialed and qualified candidates to lead our Cricket Program from 2022-23 forward. Candidates will ideally have professional and/or Premier cricket experience and suitable experience to lead, coach and manage a group of approximately 60 young cricketers.

    Tigers to pay respect to Robinson family by wearing yellow armbands

    All four Richmond Cricket Club teams will be wearing ‘yellow armbands’ to pay their respects to Heather Robinson in the second round against Melbourne University on Saturday. Heather passed away tragically in June 2021. Heather’s death saddened everyone at the club; Michael Robinson, Heather’s son, continues to be an integral part of the club and will be scoring at Central Reserve North throughout this season.

    After the disappointment of last week where all games were abandoned, the young Tigers will face the students this week, weather permitting! The 1st XI will travel to Uni Oval, and the 3rd XI to Princes Park #3, while the 2nd and 4th XIs will be at Central Reserve.
